We verify nobody

There are no profiles here and no identity checks. We run no background checks and make no claim about who anyone is. We do not know who is on either end of a link, and that is a consequence of not collecting anything, not an oversight we intend to fix by collecting more.

Whatever you know about the person you are meeting, you know from wherever you met them. This tool adds nothing to it.

Meeting someone the first time

• Meet somewhere public and stay there.
• Tell someone where you are going and when you expect to be back.
• Arrange your own way there and your own way home.
• Do not give out your address, and do not meet at either home the first time.
• Leave whenever you want to. You do not owe anyone the rest of an evening.

If someone knowing your schedule is dangerous

Some people reading this are leaving a marriage that was not safe. If there is someone who must not learn when you are alone, please read what this does not protect you from before you use it at all. Someone who lies about their own availability can learn a few of your free evenings from a single attempt. We bound that as far as the design allows and we will not claim we eliminated it.

Your children

We never ask for their names, ages, schools or anything else about them, and there is nowhere to enter it. Please keep it that way. Your pattern is stored as a shape, not as a description of anyone.
